Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System
To ensure that the GLE remains on the path of pure sound reproduction, the Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System unleashes a particularly impressive and authentic musical experience – power of its 25 speakers and 1,550 watts of total output. With its four full-range speakers integrated into the vehicle’s headliner, it enables a particularly enveloping sound with spatiality evenly distributed throughout the cabin. The VIP function thereby moves the listener even closer into the sound action, by targeting a specific listening position.

Burmester Surround Sound System
With its 13 speakers and 590 watts of system power, the Burmester Surround Sound System provides “”feel-good”” sounds perfectly adapted to the interior. The surround function can be switched on to increase the three-dimensionality of the reproduction. It generates virtual surround sound from mono and stereo signals for a particularly spacious listening experience. Maximum enjoyment, however, is achieved with real multi-channel recordings. A function for adjusting the listening position allows, in addition to the sound tuning to all listening positions, the targeted optimization of the sound to only the front or rear seats in each case.
