Burmester High-End Surround Sound System
The fully active control of all twelve loudspeakers with dedicated 821 watt amplifier channels ensures an optimal adaptation of the sound system to the vehicle and its tailor-made interior. It helps music reproduction to achieve powerful dynamics and, thanks to intelligent, optimized time response, a truly convincing spatial stage presentation.
The Air Motion Transformer (AMT®) with its large featherweight diaphragm combines maximum precision with unsurpassed response and exemplary dynamic efficiency. Racing car-like lightweight construction also in the electronics: with efficient, hybrid amplifier technology. The Class A/B amplifiers give a sonic benefit to the midrange and treble reproduction. The Class-D power amplifiers in the bass range reduce weight and power consumption. Lightweight neodymium magnets, precisely calculated aluminum speaker baskets and weight-reduced plastic composites allow the system’s performance to far exceed its weight class.
